GetCookMatch (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website getcookmatch.com. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.

Information We Collect

We collect anonymous usage data through Vercel Analytics to improve the website experience. We do not collect personally identifiable information unless you contact us directly.

Cookies

We use local storage to save your language preference and meal planner selections. No tracking cookies are used.

Third-Party Services

We use Vercel for hosting and analytics. Please refer to Vercel’s privacy policy for information on how they process data.

Recipe newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your e-mail address, the language of the site, the answers from the short quiz and the dates when letters were sent, so the same recipe does not reach you twice. The data sits in our Supabase database, and letters go out through Resend. Both services act only on our instructions. We write only after you confirm the address through the link in the first letter; an address that is not confirmed gets only the confirmation request and, at most once, a reminder. We also keep every address entered in the form, confirmed or not and including people who later turned the newsletter off, in a separate archive. It is never used to send letters: it serves for statistics and for making sure we do not write to you again after you unsubscribe. Every letter has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your data entirely, the archive included, by writing to the address below.
